Rural Security Systems Sure Action's security
systems for the home are great options for rural security applications -- a
secluded house, isolated cabins and farms or ranches.
MarineGuard
54C Security System for Isolated Cabins and Secluded, Small Homes
The MG54C security system enables homeowners to install basic security
in cabins and small homes located in remote rural areas where telephone and
cell service is sporadic or non-existent. The system includes
the control panel, stress sensors, contacts and an audible siren. An
optional security reporting application is available. If the security
system triggers, the reporting system sends information via satellite to
cell phone, Blackberry, and/or email address. Professional central
station monitoring is also available.
For buildings in areas with cell phone reception,
Sure Action also has a cell version of the transmitter.

Wireless Driveway Alert System (Probe)
Sure Action's Battery-Operated Probes are a "must have" for installations where
trenching is difficult or where the application is in a remote location.
Now in the 5th generation!
Sure Action's Wireless Driveway Alert System responds to changes in the earth's
magnetic field caused by a moving vehicle. For rural security
systems, wireless probes can be installed to trigger gates, lighting, video
cameras, and more without the installer needing to run wire back to the main
control panel. Sure Action's probes (driveway sensors) can detect a vehicle moving as
slowly as 1/2 mile per hour and work for driveways as wide as 14 feet.
Our driveway sensors are passive, momentary
devices that operate as triggers. They are not meant to be used
as security devices. They do not respond to
stationary metal. The vehicles must be moving to be detected.
If the movement stops, the probe response becomes passive (inert) again.
While individual components are available for purchase and the processor can
be paired with any transmitter, Sure Action has partnered with Innovonics,
one of the leading names in wireless, to provide installers with a complete
wireless driveway sensor option.
Benefits of a Wireless (Battery-Operated) System:
- Superior RF resistance
- High resistance to lightning and environmental
conditions.
- Increased profitability - decreases manpower
and installation time.
- 25-foot lead provided on all probes included in
the complete system. (If an application requires a longer lead
length, please request. We honor custom orders.)
- Ability to add a second driveway sensor to one
system (P500 Series Probes).
- System responds only to moving ferrous metal.
Complete Wireless
Driveway Alert System (WP5C) Components:
-
A NEMA III enclosure that
houses the transmitter, processor (conformal coated), and batteries.
-
The driveway sensor (probe) has a standard 25 foot lead.
-
A receiver,
sounder, and power supply are supplied for inside a building. The
transmitter and receiver are pre-programmed.
NEMA III box should be mounted on a wooden post and
should be as concealed as possible. The transmitter included in the system is tested to 2,000 feet
in open air (Line of sight at four feet above ground level.)
The system includes lithium batteries enabling it to be used in all climates.
Packages:
-
WP5C - Complete
Battery-Operated Probe System - WP5 Processor, Transmitter,
Receiver, N3BOX, (2) 9VBL, P500 with 25' 22/2 shielded burial cable, 12
VDC5, CHIMEPLT (tested to 2,000 ft)
-
WP5B - Basic
Battery-Operated Probe Package - WP5 Processor, P500 Probe with

wireless equipment sold separately.
WDS Outdoor Motion Sensor Alert System
A "must have" for applications where homeowners want
security lighting, gate operations or sounders to trigger whether a person
arrives in a car or on foot. The WDS Motion Sensor can also
detect large animals. Using infrared technology, the WDS motion sensor
detects heat energy generated by any large moving object. This motion
alert sensor provides coverage over a 4' to 40' area. It is
coated for outdoor use and preprogrammed for easy installation.
The Outdoor Motion Sensor
Alert System uses infrared technology to detect not just the vehicles that
travel a driveway, but pedestrians too. Sure
Action's Outdoor Motion Sensor takes probe systems to a new level.
Here's just a couple of ways Sure Action's WDS motion system benefits
rural security system installations:
- Driveway lights can automatically turn on for
both cars and pedestrians using one piece of equipment.
- Gates leaving property can open for vehicles and
pedestrians
- Lights, gates and/or video cameras can be
triggered for people on horseback or on motorcycles. The type of
terrain and the distance from the main control panel are not a concern.
- Saves money and energy. Lights can turn on
as needed rather than using an automated timer saving energy.
Addressing both vehicles and pedestrians with one piece of equipment
saves money.
Key Benefits:
- Ideal for areas where trenching is difficult
- Detects living beings as well as vehicles
- Easy installation
Individual Components:
- Vehicle Sensor
- Transmitter and Receiver
- Chime plate
- Plug-In Power Converter
Note: The WDS motion
sensor can be used instead of the wireless probe. It is important to
note that the wireless probe is more effective in detecting vehicle traffic
during severe weather conditions.
Packages:
- WDS - Complete Outdoor Motion Sensor Alert
System: Vehicle Sensor, Transmitter, Receiver, N3BOX, (2) 9VBL,
12VDC5, Chime Plate (CHIMEPLT). Tested to 2,000 ft.
Sure Action's World-Wide Satellite Reporting System
Sure Action's Satellite Reporting System gives homeowner's the ability to be

- Ability to receive reports no matter how remote the location is.
- Remotely check the status of the alarm system (referred to as
pinging the alarm system).
- Automatic test signal sent once a week to homeowner reporting the
alarm's current status.
- Receive notification if the alarm system triggers.
- Monitor the alarm system online using MarineGuard's web-based status
reporting system.
