Sure Action ENHP+ Motion SensorSure Action Stress Sensors.  For outdoor lighting applications, stress sensors are an ideal choice for triggering  automated lights for decks, docks, porches, gazebos, pool areas, small bridges over landscaped ponds, and other locations where a type of "flooring" exits.  Stress sensors are unobtrusive.  They mount on the underside of support beams and are an invisible form of home controls.    Pulsor stress sensors are effective on virtually all kinds of construction material including steel.  The sensors can be used to trigger any type of lighting eqiupment.  They can also be used to trigger video cameras or internal annunciation devices (such as a chime.)  By adding the appropriate relays, these sensors can also be used to trigger any combination of automation devices.

Sure Action Driveway Sensor Alert SystemsSure Action Motion Detectors  (Probes) respond to moving vehicles.  They can trigger one or more lights at one time, or they can be used to trigger a number of outdoor lights in sequence so that each light or group of lights turn on when the vehicle is within a specified range.   Our driveway sensors are passive, momentary devices that operate as triggers.   They are not meant to be used as security devices.  They do not respond to stationary metal.   The vehicles must be moving to be detected.  If the movement stops, the probe response becomes passive (inert) again.

Sure Action's probes (driveway sensors) can detect a vehicle moving as slowly as 1/2 mile per hour and work for driveways as wide as 14 feet.

Sure Action Stress Sensors (Pulsors)
Most outdoor lighting applications utilize the Enhanced Stress Sensors (ENHP+).   Installers must use an even number of sensors for outdoor applications.


Sure Action ENHP+ Motion Sensor
  • Enhanced Stress Sensors (ENHP+)
    Used for almost all deck and building applications.

Wireless Driveway Alert System (Probe)

Sure Action Wireless Driveway Aert System While individual components are available for purchase and the processor can be paired with any transmitter, Sure Action has partnered with Innovonics, one of the leading names in wireless, to provide installers with a complete wireless driveway sensor option.

Benefits of a Wireless (Battery-Operated) System:

Complete System includes a NEMA III enclosure that houses the transmitter, processor (conformal coated), and batteries.   The driveway sensor (probe) has a standard 25 foot lead.  A receiver, sounder, and power supply are supplied for inside a building.  The transmitter and receiver are pre-programmed.

NEMA III box should be mounted on a wooden post and should be as concealed as possible.  The transmitter included in the system is tested to 2,000 feet in open air (Line of sight at four feet above ground level.)  The system includes lithium batteries that enables to product to be used in all climates.

Directional Probe Driveway Alert
Sure Action's Direction Probe Driveway Alert Sensor enables installers to set up different responses depending on the direction a vehicle is travelling.  For example, an installer  can have lights turn on and a chime sound when a car enters a driveway, but only have the lights turn on as the car leaves the home.  Another example, directional probes can be used on long driveways to trigger lights so that only one section at a time lights as the car enter and leaves saving energy and money.

Sure Action's Standard vehicle motion sensor is our most longstanding probe.  Manufactured since 1989, this probe's signal is strong enough to generate a pulse that can be detected by a processor even when the wire has been spliced.  In addition, the probe can be up to 1 mile away from the processor.

WDS Outdoor Motion Sensor Alert System
A "must have"  for applications where homeowners want security lighting, gate operations or sounders to trigger whether a person arrives in a car or on foot.   The WDS Motion Sensor can also detect large animals.  Using infrared technology, the WDS motion sensor detects heat energy generated by any large moving object.  This motion alert sensor provides coverage over a 4' to 40' area.   It is coated for outdoor use and preprogrammed for easy installation.
