Packaged Marine Boat Alarm Systems
Sure Action's marine boat alarm systems offer installers a
straightforward
solution to meet boat owner's security needs.
Our
MarineGuard boat alarms are built with two objectives in mind.
First, we want the system to be so simple to operate that any family
member can easily turn the system on and off. Second, we want
MarineGuard's boat alarms to provide exceptional intruder detection that
can be depended on for years.
Our marine boat alarm systems couldn't be easier to use. A
weather-resistant key FOB is included with each system. The boat
owner simply pushes a button on the key FOB as he exits his boat to turn
the system on and then deactivates it using the same key FOB as he
approaches his boat just as he would turn off his car alarm. There
are no key pads to fuss with and no security passwords to remember.
A key benefit to the boat owner is that, with The PROTECTOR, there is
only a 15-second delay between the instant an intruder steps aboard the
boat and the moment the alarm system fires. And with The PROTECTOR
DELUXE, there is no delay at all. Systems that use keypads
must build in 30-second or longer delay for the owner to deactivate the
security system. MarineGuard systems do not need that delay.
MarineGuard's boat alarm systems are designed for outdoor marine
applications. They are not retrofitted residential security
systems or car alarms. The control panel is potted with
epoxy to protect the components and then mounted in a weather-resistant
NEMA III box. The Deck Sensors use marine-grade wiring. The
receivers, contacts and other security items are coated with Humiseal to
protect them from corrosion.
Sure Action's packaged marine boat alarm systems can be installed on
boats of all sizes!
Each year, an ever-growing number
of boat owners trust MarineGuard boat alarms to protect their vessels.
When installed according to manufacturer's specifications, Sure
Action's MarineGuard boat alarms provide a false-alarm free experience
with little to no maintenance required.

Why Install MarineGuard Boat Alarms?
- Each MarineGuard Protector boat alarm system is hand-assembled in the USA and passes
multiple phases of testing before it leaves the factory.
- The control panel is encapsulated to protect it from harsh
marine conditions. Each marine boat alarm comes
housed in a NEMA III weather-resistant box that measures 9-1/2"
tall, 5-1/2" wide, and 3-1/4" deep.
- All MarineGuard alarm components are marine-grade and/or sealed
to protect them from harsh environmental conditions.
- MarineGuard security systems draw power directly from the boat's
battery. The low current draw allows the system to operate for
an extended period of time.
- The Protector Deluxe marine boat alarms have 3 security zones. The system
accepts all normally open security devices.
(Deck sensors (DSE2 and hatch contacts, for example)
- The Protector Deluxe alarm also includes an additional circuit designed for a
bilge sensor (high water sensor). This is a 24-hour circuit
that remains operational whether the alarm system is armed or
disarmed.
- During an alarm condition, the siren and lighting circuit will
activate for two minutes. The system will then reset and wait
for another violation.
- For The Protector, the siren and light
activiations are controlled by the same relay. For The
Protector Deluxe, separate relay outputs are provided for siren activation and
12-volt light activation.
- All MarineGuard boat alarm systems come with detailed
installation manuals. Email and phone support is also supplied
as needed. Sure Action's technicians gladly provide alarm
design assistance as well as installation suggestions.
- Optional, alarm reporting and GPS tracking solutions available.
Installers can tie into MarineGuard's cellular and satellite
networks or use their own.
Why Boat Owners Like MarineGuard?
- Dependable, reliable security systems. Boat owners
can count on their MarineGuard boat alarm systems lasting for years.
Installed according to manufacturer's specifications, those years
can be false-alarm free ones. (A benefit to both the boat
owner and the installer.)
- MarineGuard boat alarm systems are extremely easy to use.
- Arming and disarming the system is accomplished by wireless key
chain transmitter. Remote arming and disarming is also
an available option (with the appropriate reporting package).
- MarineGuard boat alarm systems are designed to be unobtrusive.
They are simple to use but not easy to see. The alarm systems
do not detract from the boat's aesthetics.
- MarineGuard security systems has the ability
to include a chime mounted on a white
switchplate. This feature can be set to operate while boat
owners are onboard. If someone comes aboard, a pleasant chime
sounds below notifying the occupants that guests have arrived.
- If the boat owner chooses a reporting/tracking package, alarm
conditions and unauthorized usage/movement of the boat is reported
to the owner via cell phone, Blackberry, or any device that accepts
emails.
- Boat owners may receive a discount on their boat insurance. They need
to contact their carrier for details.
- Marine boat alarm systems can be customized -- even the packaged
systems. At least to a small degree. If a
boat owner wants more customization, MarineGuard's components can
be sold separately to create the exact system the customer desires.
