There is a saying that goes like this -- if every morning you get up and the first thing you do is eat a live frog, then there will be nothing worse for you to conquer that day.  Brian Tracy uses that tactic as a means to overcome procrastination.  In Eat That Frog!  you will learn 21 simple ways to "eat your frog" each day or, in other words, complete the most weighty, pressing task on your to do list  so that you have more energy and momentum to motivate you for the rest of your day.

Eat That Frog!  is a fast, easy read that motivates you to act NOW!  I found the book full of practical tips that are easy to implement.   The strategies in this book work for me.  By taking care of the biggest "To Do" first, I have discovered that I am more relaxed and, as a result, accomplish more with the rest of my day.   In the past, I would do all the 10-minute items first and then I would do the tasks I would enjoy doing the most or were the easiest to do.  And, in the back of my mind, the task I most needed to do and probably didn't want to do would be nagging at me, draining energy from me.  Not any more.  Now, I handle the biggest item first.  For me, the switch was liberating.  I highly recommend Brian Tracy's approach to mastering procrastination.
